| Draw-Tite |  Draw-Tite was started in 1946 by Bill Whichello, an inventor. Bill’s first product was a clothes line tightener. He called it a Draw-Tite. Unfortunately, that was about the time residential clothes dryers became popular and there wasn’t much call for the original Draw-Tite. Fortunately, Bill was also an avid RV’er. He built a trailer hitch for his car and, since he already had the name copyrighted, he called it a Draw-Tite. Soon, Draw-Tite became a symbol of craftsmanship in the towing industry. Over fifty years and millions of trailer hitches later, our 500 dedicated employees put the same care and patience into every hitch we build today as Bill Whichello did fifty years ago. They also make use of technologically advanced equipment and the most experience in the industry to meet the challenges of today’s tow vehicles. The basis of Draw-Tite’s continued success is that our trailer hitches are custom-fit for each vehicle. This makes them easy to install. A dealer simply bolts Draw-Tite’s one piece, welded trailer hitches to the vehicle’s frame. Most installations take 30 minutes or less and our trailer hitches are covered by a Nationwide/Lifetime limited warranty!
