  JKS's new "Quick Disconnect" design will revolutionize the QD industry once again. They are undoubtedly the most user friendly QD on the market today. Totally adjustable by the customer, these QDs will adapt to any TJ, XJ, ZJ vehicles without any modifications to the vehicle. We have also adapted this same technology to the CJ and YJ series, now called the "Quicker Disconnects". Our traditional CJ and YJ series "Quick Disconnects" are still available.
After many years of "Quick Disconnect" experience, JKS set out to design the ultimate QD that would have every feature their customers always wanted. Their fairy tale QD had to be adjustable, so you could fine tune the length if required. Maybe even have one side longer than the other - cool!
It also had to be silent in operation, which meant eliminating the traditional male/female connection that was held together with a pin.
They also had to be absolutely the easiest QD to disconnect or reconnect even on unlevel ground.
They also needed to have the ultimate bushing, something that could rotate under loads, relieving stress from other components.
Of course they wanted them to be greasable, but easier. Maybe grease both bushings at the same time - "Now that would be neat." They wanted a u-strap to hold the QD to the sway bar, but not just any ordinary u-strap, one that would not fail when the Jeep® was lifted on lift rack.
Finally, they had to be able to do all of the above, bringing the "overbuilt" quality that JKS is so famous for and manufacture it for the lowest possible price.
